v////v thaNK YOU. I NEED THAT RIGHT NOW.
you know
when you have a crush
and you just sit down and start listening to music
and then bam you’re imagining 20 different cute scenarios, or how you’d spend the day with them, or how it would feel to hug them, or how they smell, or what you’d both be wearing, and like what you would both order at a cafe, or the lovely conversations you’d have in that cafe, of hOW YOU’D SIT IN A WHEAT FIELD AND LISTEN TO THE SONG YOU BOTH LIKE
ASDFGHJKL!!!!

i’m sorry the 8 ball is being sassy and is deaf so it doesn’t understand the question and it feels emotionally frustrated right now so please just leave it alone okay
*knocks everything off desk*
Well, I just watched someone die. It’s amazing, really. How the body will shut down and just…go. It was my grandpa. I’m not sad, though, so please don’t worry about me. He’s been cheating death for years and it’s been very hard on my dad, he’s relieved to see him go.
It’s interesting because he was sleeping (I’m sure he could hear us, though). He had been asleep all day, and they moved him to hospice this morning. Well we showed up, and it’s almost as if he was waiting for us. Waiting for us so he could go. And he did. He took a quick breath, and I noticed he stopped breathing after that…I got my parents’ attention and said ‘I think that’s it’. Then he took one more breath, a longer one—that was it.
His shoulders tensed twice, my dad told him he would tell him about the Bruins hockey game results later, and he let go.
It was peaceful. Rest in peace, Andy. You can be with your beautiful Japanese wife, now.

Oh gosh no this is my MOM’S room. She’s an artist, but like…a mixed media artist. She makes cards, boxes, art journals, altered canvases, all that. But it’s actually a very small room, and it’s also where our family computer is (the only computer we have)
She made these pretty recently:

I finished the thing. :D
You’d think that’s actually wheatley up there. That’s how much Andrew looks like him. /sob
Today I wrote a slightly lengthy post about men on facebook:
“Um okay so dear men,
I feel like there a multitude of groups, posts, and beliefs that are put out there to make girls feel accepted no matter how they look, for example the whole “no thigh gap, no problem”. And it seems girls have a lot of trouble accepting their beauty because society has taught them they’re ugly…
But I think the concept can also, and should be, applied to boys. I know you all get self-concsious, too. Even if you don’t show it as often, if at all. But I think I speak for most girls (I say most because there are some—and we know who they are—that don’t) when I say that when it comes to looks, we like everything. If you have acne, that’s okay. We all do. You should still feel handsome. Are you a little short, or way super tall? I think both are really nice. Guys with abs? Hot. Guys without abs? Still hot. Are you chubby? I like that. Facial hair? Sexy. No facial hair? Yummy.
So when you get down on yourself, remember, us girls understand. c:”
Thought it needed to be shared here.
Can I still be considered a part of the Star Trek fandom even though I’ve only seen the new movies?
I’m guessing not, but I’d still really love to be one of you guys. (Especially considering I was 9 when the last movie (before the 2009 one) came out. So hopefully I can be forgiven for that.)
